  • The health service is not equipped to deal with the Mental Health Epidemic we are facing in Northern Ireland. This is an area close to my heart and I believe we need to empower people to take control of their mental health. We can do that through education, increased awareness of conditions, destigmatising mental illness and helping people to live lives that prioritise their well-being and health. Our mental health services are not able to help people effectively, we need to educate people and we need to start young.
